Couple of problems hopefully someone can help me with. I have a DLE-30 that was a side carb. Bought the conversion kit and converted it to a rear carb. No matter what I do..... I can't get it to idle. Had the same problem when it was a side carb. Could it be the timing is off? If so how do you go about changing it. Any suggestions on that or any other thoughts on how to tune this monster will be appreciated. Thanks

Where are the mixture needles set to? What are you using for oil/gas ratio?

Before you go dinking with needles, remove the spark plug.

If its the original factory plug, or unlabled or doesn't say NGK on it smash it with a hammer.

Buy an NGK CM6, gap it to 20 thou, and give that a try.
