General rule of thumb on going from a two blade to a 3 is down one inch in length and up one inch in pitch. Always seems to work correctly. Don't know why the gas guys didn't reply??

???....no disrespect but I think you are talking about keeping the same approx load on the engine when using the same number of BLADES. Going from a 2 blade 28x10 would have approx the same load as a 2 blade 26x12.....etc.
When adding a blade I think you need to drop the dia and pitch a bit further. I run mainly 100-111 cc twins. If I change from a 28x10 2 blade I usually wind up using a 25x10 or so 3 blade to get the approx same load/performance.
