Search for somebody here called Taurusflyer... from the Netherlands if I remember... Taurus mad... as you'll discover.
Normally hangs out in the classic pattern section.
He'll know for sure.

Contact Jeff at Home and Hobby Solutions. He sells a Taurus replica kit. I used some of his parts to rebuild my old crashed Taurus. He may have the canopy you need. http://www.classicrchobby.com/

I built a Taurus from scratch last year. The canopy I matched to the plans I obtained from SIG Manufacturing. They have several size canopies available. Meadure what you need from the plans, get the canopy from SIG and cut off the trim and you are ready to go. Taurus Flyer is a great resoource for technical info while building. I built mine to resemble the original Kazmirski Taurus and used an OS 50SX for power.

Good luck, and let us know how you end up.

All,

parkflyerplastics.com has Taurus, Orion & Tauri canopies. The mold was cast from an original canopy from a Taurus kit. BTW - Top Flite used the same canopy for all 3 models.

Hi David!

rye,

I build one and I balance it to the plans a lot of weight in the nose ,she saps in the turns one guy said I should make the nose longer to get the weight down and balance out the long tail . Thanks

The Taurus is famous because of the characteristic dimensions, short nose and long tail moment, so you "should" build a new one!(LOL)
How is the Taurus flying?
