RE: Laser Design Services for kit cutting?
The owner of lds occasionally flies at our club. He put up some pictures of a 'stick' kit that he cut and built.

You can't tell a lot from pictures but what I can see looks very good.

I got a few planes /short kits from him and I also send him plans to get laser cut he always did a good job ,I never had a problem ,I seen people complaining that parts won't fit this and that ,well let me tell you if you are a builder and knows how to build ,that should not be a problem ,anyway it never happened to me ,and I got 5 short kits from him already

I bought a Zlin 526 short kit for LDS. The wing ribs were a disaster. Shortly after complaining about the cutting a "fix" was supposed to be in the works. Several emails over the course of a year were all ignored. I gave up on the project. 2 1/2 years later a set of ribs showed up in the mail. NEVER any contact or explanation. He even had a 1/2 scale short kit. Both disappeared from his website and never returned.
Build thread here. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...n-526-AS-Build
At one point I stated the ribs were cut to the plans but they were not. The fuse is off a bit also, but buildable. "Someday" I may continue the build?????
