Futaba servos and a Spektrum radio

Default Futaba servos and a Spektrum radio

I have a Spektrum DX-8 radio and i was told that i could use Futaba Servos is this true

Or Hitec , airtronics, or any off brand. It doesn't matter.

Only servos that dont interchange are old airtronics and world servos .Those servos could be used if you reversed the positve and negative leads.

I agree which is why i said OLD . Was just some info to throw out. If the op wasnt aware what servos could be used I thought his inexperience could lead to think ALL airtronics servos .Thats all

Here is the wiring diagrams for servos, to fit the Futaba servo plug, you may have to trim the conector to fir the RX

If I am correct, his name is a refrence to the old "Airplane" movies.. Peter Graves was "Captain Clarence Oveur".. that movie had some of the best lines and Slapstick comedy ever!!
