Patriot
Ok.....i have a Hobbico Supterstar trainer that is my first plane. Next is a Kadet Senior that is still in the shop. What my question is, is what does everyone think about the Great Planes Patriot. Would that be a good third plane or would it be too fast do you think.....

RE: Patriot
I would probably go with a low winged aileron'd sport plane for my third, then go with the patriot.
If you can get a patriot now and want one I'd buy it and just keep it around till your ready. Some other Patriot posts talk about this plane being difficult to get. (limited availability and such)

RE: Patriot
I would get a tiger 2 after the Kadet Senior for some low wing time. The low wing models fly a little different than the top wing models and the Tiger 2 is a great flying plane and you can do just about anything with it.
As for the Patriot I am on my 3rd one and they are great and I love them. Head over the extreme speed forum and you will quickly see that they are one of the most popular speed type planes out there. They are hard to get so I would by one if you can find one. The Patriot flys and lands significantly faster than those other planes, it does glide but it doesn't glide as well as the others so I would not suggest going there for your 3rd or 4th plane. I would put together a F-15 (Great Planes) it is a little slower than the patriot and gives you some experience looking at the !QUOT!jet!QUOT! type profile. Please hold off on the Patriot until you are absolutely ready you will be thankful, it is always best to wait rather than force it you will have much more fun. In any event the F-15 is a great looking plane and it is fun to fly.
