I am trying to fix my windshield got a sheet of plastic from my lhs. He told me to heat the plastic in the oven and form it over my mold, that I made from p of p. My question is how hot do I get before its to hot? Any advice will be appreciated.

Until it starts to sag. It takes a few sheets to get it right. I have also used a heat gun when working over a wood plug.

There are several vid on youtube showing this process. none is really detailed since set up and result may differ in accordance to the model.
