Default Ar635 rx servos

I picked up the Ar635 RX and it says it needs , high torque, high speed, high resolution , digital servos

did not know what I was getting into when I bought it, just wanted to look better flying!!!!!

I general use Hitec, but would appreciate any recordation's.

Price is a consecration, but not a show stopper.

ps I can't find the book, but I think that is what it said it wanted. I will fine the book.

I have a Cap 580 I would like to tame, its about a .90 2 cycle.

I am looking for sevros for the RX

I found the book and it asks for, digital, high speed and high resolution. I think I said high torque on the post and that was wrong.

anyway I general use hited, but am not glued to them. Just would like to stay with the same servo I have been using.

If you go to a place like servo city on the net you can look up all the different servos and see the specs for yourself. There are too many servos to choose from these days so it's nice to read up on all the different brands and models. There are also close out sales where you can get some great deals.

Spektrum specifically states - not for nitro or gas, so I'm not sure that it would be wise to use it with your 2 cycle

I talked to a guy when ordering them, he never asked what kind of plane or engine/motor.

I will get back with them.

thanks for the input, even if I don't like it!!!! LOL

I got two 635's the manual makes strong reference on not using nitro/gas. they also say digital, but I put the first one in a proflie foamie (reg. servos) as my test plane and it did fine. digital just has abetter/faster response. the other one is with dig. servos. they work nicely. if you can set it up with all servos set to normal it will make your first setup easier. also you have to use a Y connector for ail.

Ok, guess I did not read the manual very well. went back and reread the manual and your right.

what do you mean by setting the servos to normal? Is that for reg servos or the digital, etc ones?

I guess that changes things, but does not stop forward movement.

I was going to put my ys63 on the funtana S40, but I think it would be a better elect plane anyway. this will work out to be a nice setup.

thanks

Normal or reverse, if you can keep them in the normal position, then you can just use the default settings. Not trying to discourage you, but I spent a few hours learning how to set it up. It does make flying fun. Check rc group forum I think there is a whole section on this unit. Check under "radio" .

Ok , I will check the radio forum out.

I was on the edge about the funtana, wanted to go elec and wanted to put the ys in a plane. I guess the ys will wait for another plane.

thanks
