i have a few of the old 25 FSRs. I see that these engines have a bolt on back plate. Can I unbolt the front/back sections and reinstall them on the opposite ends to put the muffler on the opposite side?

Should be no problem. Have done it on the .40's . Max

You can also reverse rotation direction by rotating the front housing 180 degrees.

I just got 1 out. I havnt seen them for awhile. I made a mistake. The 25s dont come apart like my 40 does.. Oh well...

The 25 FSR are great engines, I use them on a few of my twins, very strong and reliable. Here's a pic of my OV-10. Also the three engine Stick with OS 28 FSR's.
