Default STORING RADIO EQUIPMENT

I have a new Futaba radio system that will be going into a plane that I've yet to build. I charge and discharge the TX and RX batteries every few months to keep them active. In between charging and discharging the batteries, what state should I be leaving them in, fully charged or fully discharged?

If it is going to be a while, remove the tx batt and make sure the rx is not plugged in to the batt

Yep, You don't want the deadly green negative wire.  Sometimes it travels into the circuit board too.
