Stampe Control throw question

If you have a radio with exponential capability, I would recommend as much throw as you can get, and use the xepo to soften things up around neutral. That beast does NOTHING quickly, it has way too much drag. I flew mine with a Enya120, and I swear that the air speed at full throttle was the same flying flat and level, and with the nose pointed straight at the ground. That may be an exaggeration, but only slightly.

Thanks Les. I flew it previously with an OS91 on board and I agree it was a bit mushy then my Spektrum DX7 had the dreaded "Backup Error" and all model memories were lost. Horizon Hobby have reset the TX but now I have to setup and maiden 20 models. Don't you just love Spektrum!!

My Stampe was 1/4 scale but I will agree with lots of movement on all controls. You might want dual rates on elevator and some expo. More up than down on ailerons. I had an )S 120 surpass in mine and rarely used more than 1/2 throttle. Much more fun to woffle it around and make side slipping passes or inverted flybys.
