Unhappy how to time a FA 90 twin

I received a motor it is a FA 90 twin the problem is the cam towers have been taken off. I saw the timing mark on the cam wheels but cant find a mark on the crank. I think if the piston was on tdc and the cam was on the flat side it would work, any body can tell me how to do this ?
