Default building board question

Im finding that the older I get the more it hurts my back to build with the board laying flat on the table. Im going to prop my board up at an angle and see how my back does. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi balsatermite
Maybe your body is signaling that you need to be doing some exercises. I'm 78 and work out at a gym 5 days per week and have no back problems. I don't build much anymore, but I do fly my foam planes 3-4 times per week.

My work bench is "belly button" high. I have the option of standing or sitting on a tall stool. Works for me but YMMV.
