Default Applying Decals

I have a set of Decals the type where you peel one side off exposing the adhesive side, placing this side down on the suface, smooth it out and peel off the front side exposing the finished decal side; can you wet these first with soapy water to help with proper placement and ensure all airbubbles are removed, then when happy with placement push out all remaining water, or is there a better way?

Yes, Windex also works well and a product called Rapid Tack works best.

No need just tape the decal where you want it use the tape like a hinge. Raise the decal peel off the backing and carefully lower the decal back in place. Now peel the front off

I like to apply mine wet. It gives ME a little fudge factor (especially with the larger decals) in case I make a mistake. I let them set a day or two to make sure all the moisture has evaporated from under the decal before flying or clear coating. Sometimes it can be a bit fussy pealing off the front protective paper because the adhesive hasn't grabbed on yet.
