Problems during running in a West Eurotec 52T1 ABN (Made by Webra)
Everybody knows that the ABN motors is very narrow in the cylinder top end, Before they have been running in... I started with preheating the cylinder with a small torch, then use a starter, but the engine cool down very fast, so had to do it over and over again, finally it starts and running for a minute, then stopped ... And after that, i have problems to started it again.. I Think this Engine feel more tardy than earlier abn Engines, i have running in... I need some tips for this problem... Best Regards...Thomas

You might be better posting this in the glow engine thread.
I had a West 50 TI and never ran it in, just put in a 3D profile and flew it. Kept it a couple of clicks rich and of course being being a 3D model I was never on full throttle for long at least to begin with. I had the throttle pipe on mine from West.
Great engine.
