A 56" long fuselage is too long for a 1/5 th Cub and too short for a 1/4 scale Cub. It is in between. Is the model kit built or an ARF? Does it look like a full wing or a clip wing? Is the wing one piece or separate halves that plug into the fuselage cabin? Photos would help. If the model is kit built, and the wing is one piece, it could be a Great Planes 60 size J-3. G.P. 60 size cub specs state a 56.5" long fuselage, and a clipped wing size of 83" with a full size wing being 90". If it were built as a clip wing the exact wing span could vary to whatever the builder made it. Measure it again to see if the 86" you stated is accurate.

Well, I take back the ZZZZZZzzzzzzz. You were awake! But you replied to me in the wrong place. I don't read my PM's on a regular daily basis so I didn't find your reply until you made the previous post which is where you should have posted the measurement recheck information. Many other RCU members will also be reading this thread and though they may not have posted in this thread yet, the other information you might have posted here could have brought more input to answer your call for help in identifying your CUB. By the way, the word "rude" has an "e" on the end of it even if you stretch it out to be ruddddddddddd"e". My intent was not to be rude but rather to continue discourse in the attempt to help you to identify your Cub so you can get the correct windows. Guess you missed the smiley face. Now back to the Cub, based on what you said in your PM, my best guess at this point is still that it is the G.P. 60 size Cub. I do not have that particular Cub to measure for you but if you post the window measurements here maybe someone who has a G.P. 60 size Cub will compare for you. Great Planes still offers the 60 size Cub window set if you determine that's what you got. I have many Cubs in my hanger but not that one. Best of luck in your quest. P.S. There is a "Cub brotherhood" thread in the "kit builders" section that you might want to move this question to. For sure someone there will have a 60 size G.P. Cub and maybe they will check the window size for you.

I have a few Cub's too A 1/5 scale great planes Fabric covered Cub's fuse is approx 42.5" long minus the rudder The wing cord is about 12.5 " As 52larry52 pointed out the span can be whatever the builder made it . a B.U.S.A. 1/4 Cub fuse is approx. 57" long minus the rudder and 7 3/4" wide at the top of the fuse where the wing attaches fuse the cord is approx 16" the windows are about 4 1/4" high . This plane has functioning door and window on the right hand side .The Sig 1/4 cub fuse is approx 53.5" long minus the rudder 'and 6 1/4" wide at the top of the fuse where the wing mounts .The cord is approx 16" .the windows are about 4 1/4" high . The Sig 1/4 cub doesn't have a functioning door . A few pictures of your Cub would go a long way to help identify it . There are so many Cub out there both ARF's and Kits . The BUSA windows are all made from flat plastic sheet including the windscreen . If you have the pattern it is quite simple to cut one out and fit it .
