Have any of you guys heard of this "AnyLink 2": http://www.tacticrc.com/anylink/anylink2.html I seen it on another thread here in Questions and Answers. I looked into it and Tower Hobbies has it and the receivers, and cable for it at a pretty reasonable price. I have a Airtronics RD6000 Sport 72 Mhz also. All it really needs is a tx battery for it.

Still its main function is to allow non-Tactic transmitters to connect to Flyzone TxR planes and/or Tactic receivers.
Remember all 2.4ghz systems made are proprietary to the manufacturer. You can't bind a Futaba 2.4(or your favorite make) transmitter to a Spektrum (or another manufacturers) receiver. However some manufacturers make modules to connect their receivers to a competitors transmitter.......such as the Anylink/2.

The Anylink should work fine. I converted my old HiTec Eclipse 7 to 2.4 by adding a new module. I used the FRSky system and Rx's. http://www.alofthobbies.com/radio-ge...y-modules.html

The Anylink connected to the RD6000 will work but the module and cable will be hanging from the transmitter. OK if you only fly a Tactic receiver occasionally but not the best set-up as your main 2.4 radio. There are manufactures who make a "Hack" 2.4 module for use with their receivers and the module mounts and gets wired inside the transmitter and is a cleaner install however you need to have some wiring experience and a hole needs to be drilled in the case for the antenna.
