Bob,
Toughlon is used by and sold by World Models.
I absolutely love their Mach II low wing trainer/sport plane. I've had several.
My only objection to the Toughlon is the residue left behind after removal - there is a lot of it.
It leaves a lot of coloring behind on the wood.
I spent a lot of time and acetone to get as much off as possible.
Its cost is about half of Oracover or Monocote.
You need to decide if the savings is worth the extra work.

I have never used the product to recover a plane.
What was on the plane seemed OK until removal time.

Good Luck,

Like the previous reply has stated, it is sold by World Models; I flew Club 40 Pylon Racing with World Models Mach II Planes that were all covered in Toughlon, never had any problems with the covering, just as good as some of the other brands, never recovered the planes, just did a few patch jobs on the existing covering using Toughlon for patches and it seemed to adhere to the original Toughlon Covering without any problems,
