Default Tactic radio suitability?

I have ordered a TACTIC 6ch 2.4ghz radio for use in a RTF electric a/c. Is this radio adequate for full range large and giant scale flying?

In theory, yes its a full range transmitter. I say in theory only because it is not one of the 3 or 4 major brands of radios that you'll find at most flying fields (JR, Futaba, Spectrum, Airtronics). Because I haven't seen any of these in the field, I can't comment on how robust/secure its spread spectrum processing is nor the quality of the actual transmitter hardware/software.

Yes, the Tactic is an excellent choice, ever bit as good as any of the other major brands. Not only that, it has more features for the dollar than any of the others. I have the Spectrum 6, Airtronics 8000, Futaba 6Ex, FRSky and a couple of other brands. The Tactic is as good as any of them and has more features than any of the others.
