Currently i am using just for fuel pump and glow igniter but it could be used for your starter too for smaller engines. I use a separate lipo for the starter and just leave it connected via a Deans connector just for convenience. I set the lipo on the ground next to the starting station.

I've got 3 similar batteries and I've thought about using them as all-round field box batteries. I realize they're small capacity, but I typically only use the starter briefly at the start of 3-6 flights.

Any thoughts?

PD
If your motors are tuned well and start up fast, sure, it will work,, For the pump you need to be more careful, I have a 3s 1300 for mine, it runs down quick once it gets low. It's a good way to kill a lipo running it down to low, always the fire danger too,, just have to be careful
