Default Saito 125 muffler alternatives

Hey everyone,

last weekend I lost the muffler off my Saito 125. Man does Saito like their mufflers.

I was was hoping to pickup one for under 25.00....no go.

does anyone have a used one they would like to sell or

know of a DIY idea.

Thanks,
Dan

From time to time you will find them for sale on Ebay in the RC airplane parts auctions. It may take awhile for what you need to come up for sale so if you need one ASAP you may have to bite the bullet and pay Saito's retail price. If you have any local RC swap meets coming up, watch for one there too ; hay wait you are "local Atlanta area".......the Bartow County RC club has a swap meet in two weeks on Oct. 3rd. Look in your latest AMA Model Aviation for details.

Thanks for the response 52larry,
I will look online at eBay but I am no longer in the Atlanta area. If you are going, and think of me, and find one, hook a brother up :-)

Saw one on line tonight from "Phil's Hobby Store". It was priced at just under $36 plus just under $5 for shipping. Seems reasonable to me. I have bought several items from Phil's and they a good supplier. Got to their store thru Ebay RC parts.

P.S. It was the muffler only, the connecting pipe is a separate part.
