Default FUTABA TM-FH Module FHSS...Does it worth it to upgrade?

Hi.

I am a proud owner of the Futaba 10C AIR for quite a few years.
Now that everyone stepped up to 2.4G ,

I am trying to find some info as to wether or not it is a good idea to keep my Tx

and just buy and upgrade the module.
Futaba offers an easy way to step up to 2.4, with this:

Does it worth it? Also,
have you seen the new FHSS technology from Futaba?

Thanks a lot,
Kostas1

If your radio gear is still legal, just use it. Just because there is an upgrade available doesn't mean you have to upgrade your equipment. NOW, that being said, if receivers and crystals are hard to get in the frequency you use, you will need to upgrade eventually so I'd start by upgrading as needed when needed.

I put a TM-8 module in to my 9Z and it worked perfectly. I still have it. Dan.

So this thing actually work.Although TH is out of stock currently and I have to wait...

Also,
I checked the site of Futaba and I saw that they produce many Rx's.
Check this out: http://www.futabarc.com/receivers/fhss.html

What I cannot understand is this. Many of the Rx on their site read 2.4GHz FHSS or 2.4GHz S-FHSS or 2.4GHz T-FHSS ???

What is this S and T-FHSS all about?

The module works with every one of them?

If you are interested in flying in competitions/shows/displays some organizers now insist on 2.4.

This can only increase IMHO.

I would try to find a TM-10 module; they are out there. You get 2048 resolution and all the channels of your 10C. The FASST receivers cost money is the only downside. The 7 channel ones arent too bad cost wise.

Normal to say, because 2.4G is the most safe to fly technology.

The module is now in-stock on TH.

The only thing that I'm curious and cannot decide is wether or not its a wise idea to buy the module
or just sell my 10C and go ahead for the Futaba 10JA ?
