Default Stabilizer

I just bought a OrangeRx GA7003XS Futaba FASST Receiver with 3 Axis Stabilizer FS and SBus and it says to hook canal 5 for on and off I have chenal 5 on a on and off switch I have a 14sg Tx and the function switch does not show on or off so how can I tell if it is on or off with the airplane on the bench

Well seems to me you hook a servo to that channel. Switch one way if the servo moves it's on, the other way and the servo doesn't move it's off.

You can also look at the Servo Monitor screen to see what signal is output for each switch position.

I just bought one also. I cant get it to do the gyro thing at all. Lights up and works servos fine. I had a hard time seeing which way the dip switches are. I tried to move them but not sure if I did. Now the motor just beeps no action at all. I went back to another receiver and all is fine with motor and all. I was really hoping for a gyro. any suggestions from anyone who has any success? Thanks. and about the channel 5 thing- what if your flying just a 4 channel plane?
