Default ACE T-34 maiden flight.

Took my T-34 for its maiden flight this morning. As it lifted off it slowly started to bank left, added trim while it was climbing lost lift eventually and tip stalled to the right in a spin. Able to recover a from this scary movement several times before finally getting it down in one piece. Never could regain straight and level flight with out speed. Spent most of it trying to land. Regained control several times but never really felt it. Managed to get it down in one piece, no damage. Not in like a normal landind though. Is this a sign of nose heavy? I set the CG slightly nose heavy, pointing down.

Sounds severely under powered to me. What engine/prop are you running? .40 size correct?

Not under powered. OS 46 AX. Wasn't paying attention to climb angel while trying to locate trim tab. This radio is still new. Just trying hindsight of that flight. I may have throttled back. My great planes CG showing nose heavy. I think to much. Did a search and found info on this subject. Thanks.

What are you doing trying to TRIM on TO ??? You FLY the plane to altitude then set it up to trim . To further your education when trimming ; do it in long straight flights, NOT in circles . ENJOY !!! RED

I was trying to get to the long straight flight. The problem started when I turned to head back, it wanted to roll. I checked lateral balance and it's off to the side it was rolling?

Second flight this morning. Fly's sweet as can be. Added 26 grams to the tail and 7 to the left wing tip. I'll pay more attention to this next time.
