Not true - is this a trick? Name of the airplane is on the base of the vertical stabilizer in the picture next to the 13...

Always loved the Glasairs . Just for kicks when you have a photo lke this, if the tail number is visable even though the airplanes name may not be painted somewhere and it is current US civil registry (Us registry is always has an (N) preceding the balance of the numbers) which can be any combo of numerals and letters. Just go Here: and type in the tail number and you will get all the info on that particular airplane.

FAA Registry - Aircraft - N-Number Inquiry

This example is an airplane that I owned and operated for thirty five years but finally had to let her go ten years back.

Thank you for the input, I could not read the name on the tail.

Johnbuckner- that is really a cool thing to know. Thanks for sharing that! Many times I see a plane I'd like to model but too inexperienced to know exactly what it is. Thanks again!

Thanks Tom, I have owned six different full scale airplanes in my lifetime but none now and through the years I love keeping track of them via the registry.
