Default who makes a Quality, Mechanical, Metal Retract

Guys, I need a reliable set of 90 or 95 degree Mechanical .46 size "Rotating" Retracts,, I want Metal Retracts, (not plastic)

it's for my P-40,

I have looked around the Net, and I have to wonder, if I am asking for too much ??

thank you for your reply !!, looks like CJM has them in stock, but, A) their description does not match the product, so there is no info on measurements or degrees, and B) there is no photo

Do some research on Century Jet before making your purchase. It's best to know any supplier, before giving them your hard earned $$$.

Only you can judge your margin of risk. I just wanted you to be aware of that risk.

Century Jet is the supplier of all my landing gear for my several kits for 6 years. There has never been a problem with my many customers, to the contrary they all have been well pleased with the quality and order handling! What every that guys problem is, there are two sides to that story, please remember that!! Thanks!!!

Your association with them is known. I assume that is why you keep pushing their products.

My Century Jet gear was junk, by the way.

What was wrong with the gear, calling it junk does not tell us what was wrong! Did you contact CJM to get a resolution?

ByLoudDesign,, read the story in the link,,

Century Jets ripped me off......

the end result is that the buyer paid out $430 for what he thought was quality retracts, and today his $430 is gone and he has no retracts, I too am on the buyer's side

I believe Robart made some years ago. Plastic seams to be the norm now.
