I check my socks every day before I put on my shoes.

I check my socks before I put them on rather than waiting until I put on my shoes.

Talking web site

For all you that cannot see past their feet and some may have to bend over to do so. Checkthesock was a very interesting web site that showed the rc airfield of your choice. It showed an overhead view of the field with an arrow showing the wind direction ,wind speed. and temperature. You could program many fields. I used it in Florida for the Ocala Flying Model Club, Southern Eagles, and the North Dallas Flying club. Now suddenly the site is no longer on the web.I guess it is a wash as your socks probably need.

I think I ran into that website last summer when I was planning on going to another club's fly in.

Yea, it was a great website. I could look at my field and see the wind speed , direction, and temp. But now it is suddenly gone. I was asking about it just to see if it was a glitch in my computer or if it was gone.I am surprised not to find very many people knew about it.I guess they were busy darning there foot wear!!!!

Try windy.com see if that would work for you. The home page shows wind nationally. Search for a city or Zoom in to the area you want to check. Then click on the spot. You get a flag with a link. Click on the link and you get a pop up page with wind info, temp at 3 hour time frame plus forecast info. Great for pilots flying cross country. IMO of course. Just checked Kissimmee area. A destination of mine.
