Default Ball cup question

if I have a 2.5mm ball stud, what size ball cup do I need. I have searched high and low and canít find a ball cup of that size and find a ton of lack of info when figuring out the cup size. Any suggestions or links?

I personally prefer the ball link like what helicopters use. Those can be adjusted to have a more ideal fit. There are dedicated tools that will shave the inside of the link to to fit the ball or some will simply squeeze the outside of the link while it is on the ball to adjust the fit. It is generally accepted that the link should "just" fall on it's own weight. This will give an almost friction free movement without being sloppy on the ball.

You have a part number you would be mentioning?

i see the dubro dun928 is fairly close in size (coming from Dubro themselves when I contacted them) which would come tight, some play may get them to work right. They are willing to sell just the ball cups at $1.00 a piece with a min order of 50. Only way to get them or I spend basically $5.00 a pack for the 928ís and buy 6-7 packs to get enough for what I need them for.
