Default Exhaust residue on Cya. hinges?

Hey all. I added a Mac's tuned pipe to my aero. Now the exhaust residue sprays all over the tail surface instead of the bottom of the wing. Does anyone have any bad experiences with glued in hinges coming in contact with the Castor and or synthetic oils in the exhaust?
I used thin Cya. on Radio South Pro-hinges.
Thanks, Marco.

Default Exhaust residue on Cya. hinges?

Marco-
I don't use the CA type hinges, but I use thin CA exclusively to install Klett type hinges. I have experineced absolutely no problems with them coming loose or departing the aircraft. Some have said I'm courting trouble, but I have never experienced a failure. As they say, to each his own.

Thanks for the reply RGM. Is the exhaust residue coming in contact with your Ca'd hinges?
