OS 48 SURPASS
Does anyone know anything about this engine? I have a chance to buy one used and know nothing about it. Are these comparable with the current 52 in power and weight?

I have a used one! Picked it up on ebay. Nearly new condition. Including a spare ring, it went for about 50% of the price of a new 52.
I ran it once.
APC 12x6
Cool Power 10%
~9200 RPM
I am pleased. I expect to be using it for a long time.

I have both the 48 and 52. The 48 has been discontinued. Was not a very strong engine. The 52 seems to have twice the power. Not sure you can still get parts for the 48?
