I'd say nose down. This way the oil in the engine stays in the bearings to help prevent rust. Attach a string or something around the tail and hang it up on a wall.

I made two ell brackets out of 1x3's covered with carpet and screwed them to sides of the floor joists in the basement. The wing rests just below the joists and the tail fits between them.

I took the horizontal sections of the 1x3's and ripped them in half from the vertical pieces to the ends so they wouldn't be so wide and rounded the ends. They are long enough to go about 1.5" past the cg mark.

If you have a place that you can drill two 1/2" inch holes to accept
1/2" wood dowels and then slide foam pipe insulation over them
this makes a good support for the stabilizer to rest against with
the plane hanging down.

Funfly33,

You hang a profile "Sideways"! (snicker..snicker).

Actually, I ran 2 cables across the room and I place the planes flat on these cables. They are approx 18" from the ceiling about 18" apart.

Thanks to all

I didn't know if hanging it by the tail would hurt if after awhile.
