smoke system in glow engine (saito 100 )
Everything I see has smoke systems mounted to gas engines... I am under the impresion it's because of the heat generated at the muffler. I have a Biplane with a Saito 100 mounted in it. Will in generate enough heat at half throttle to work a smoke system? I'm new at this and would love to put smoke in my Waco 60. It's a little over powered so I rarely run it at full power. Any sugestions on a smoke systems that will work. The plane is light so weight is not a problem and plenty of room inside. Thats for the help.

You should be able to blow some great smoke with that engine. You'll need to tap a fitting in the muffler's header, right next to where it leaves the engine. You may even want to wrap the muffler with fiberglass to help it retain heat. I'm using a YS 91AC, and I get tons of smoke.
