Books about Acrobatics??
Wondering if there are any good books that will describe and show how to all of the acrobatics tricks that we see all of the great pilots do at the shows. I know of the one video that Jason Schulman made and yes, it was very good. But he only showed just a few manuvers. I want to know more. Any help out there? Thanks, Jim

RE: Books about Acrobatics??
Dave Patrick has/had a good book on aerobatic manuevers. It contains a compilation of his aerobatic articles that appeared in Model Airplane News Magazine a few years ago. I do recommend it.

Try the aerobatics section of my website.
While it is not a book, it may have the information you seek.

Check out the Duane Cole series
it is based on full scale aircraft but it talks you through it step by step:control input, power settings etc.
i think he also has a few videos along with some books

"Fly for Fun" with Bill Thomas. Two books designed for full scale aerobatic competition. Bill was on the US aerobatic team for several years, and the US judge in international competition for a couple of years. He has over 8000 hours teaching in a Pitts, and a lot of todays good aerobatic pilots instructed under Bill's guidance. These are good books.
