Length of Antenna
Hi,
I have a JR R700 Rx and I believe the antenna wire has been cut short. Can anyone tell me the correct length for the antenna wire. I think it should be 39", but I'm not sure.

RE: Length of Antenna
One meter or 39.375 inches. You can get these pre-cut from the radio service facilities for a couple of bucks, and if you are dexterous with a small soldering iron (I need a magnifier myself) installation is doable.

RE: Length of Antenna
Many people cut their antennas to about 20" for small Parkflyers. (My guess as to why it's that length.) It reduces range to around 500 to 1000 feet, which isn't a problem with parkflyers. You can solder an additional length to the old wire, but for the cost of new I wouldn't bother.
