engine mounts
Oh......it's really bad,, oh......no.......
Just kidding..
If you could be more specific, such as what engine/plane/mount/etc... combo your using, I bet that you'd get a whole bunch of response. It's kind of hard to know though what we're talking about when ....well.....we don't know what we're talking about.
There's other factors in mounting engines then straightness or being straight or even centered. Alot of times engines are off center at firewall, with side-thrust built in the plane. This is done so center of crank ends up at center of plane. So if your looking at an engine mount without looking at the crankshaft of engine, yes it could be off center at firewall, and perfectly centered at crankshaft.
There's thrust issues, thrustlines, mounting angles IE;inverted, upright, sidemount, etc..
I can almost gaurentee we can help you some if we can get some specifics here. We LIKE to help. Hope to hear from you soon.
