Default What would be the best way to a glo-fuel-proof finish?

Has anyone attempted to use Z-poxy resign
thinned with alcohol to cover or clear coat
over water-based latex paints? I was thinking
of using the Varathane Elite® Diamond Floor Finish
product to finish my warbird however I heard mixed
reviews on how glow fuel can get through the varnish
and make the surface gooey. Are there any alternatives
to a solid glo-fuel-proof finish? Let me know what your
experiences are in this area. Thanks - Wade

I tried the epoxy thing one time on a boat hull. Thought it would shine right up. It crackled the paint in 1/4 inch squares right down to the fibreglass. Terrible mess!! and lots of work to fix up. I've been useing polycarbonate paint from lhs and auto clear coat from the UAP Napa store ever since. No problems so far ( knock on wood! )
