Default Champion Focke Wulf

Hi all,

I recently got my hands on a .40 size Focke Wulf built by Champion Model Airplane Co. Has anyone ever heard of Champion? I have no assembly instructions with this kit so if anyone has a copy and wouldn't mind sharing, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Anthony

I have their .40 p-47D kit. I believe they are out of business.
Good luck finding instructions Do you have the blue prints if they are like mine there are some assembly instructions on them otherwise you may have to use your best judgement while building

I had the P-47 and gave it to my son-in-law, who hasn't built it yet. If there were instructions with it, they were pretty brief. Mostly a follow-the-plan and go for it.

I didn't know they made a FW. And they have been out of business for a number of years.

I do have the plans. Just wasn't sure if there was suppose to be any assembly instructions. I figured they went OOB. I couldn't even find any miscellaneous info about them on the net. Do either of you have an opinion on how theirs kits "build" and "fly"?

Thanks,

Anthony

I never built or flew one of them, but they seemed to have a decent reputation. They are not as prefabricated as most modern kits however. But someone with average building skills should be able to build one, and I expect the result would be a decent flying airplane.

I don't intend on starting for a few months but I'll be sure to post some pics and advice as I build. Thanks to each of you for providing some info.
