Please HELP me figure out the NAME of this CAR/Buggy
I recently got this buggy from a friend of mine. He had this in his garage and he got it from another friend long long time ago. I traded him some stuff for it hoping I could get it to work.
One Question :
What is this Car?
PICTURE (Click HERE )
Could anybody possibly tell me what this the name of this car is? This is all I have and the body but I need to get a pull starter for it or however I could get it to start.
Also notice there are two outputs on the tailpipe other than for the exhaust. Picture "DSC00778"
One goes back to the gas tank to help circulate the fuel but what is the other one for? Should I get some kind of stopper and plug it up?
I am really new to this RC stuff but I do have an electric Evader.
Any help would be VERY appreciated. Even opinions would be cool.
Please email me at [email protected].
Thanks,

looks like an old associated RC10 GT.. but how old..? no clue.
also looks like that the pipe originally had only one pressure tap (the long one) but the second one was drilled to fit the truck better. you can plug it if you want to.. basically all its going to do is drip.
if you decide to get a pull starter and try to run it, be sure to pick up an air cleaner at the hobby shop as well.. buggy engines are dirt magnets.
oh.. and youre also going to need a one-way bearing..thats what fits on that shaft poking out of the back of the engine.

those blue yellow wheels look like Losi's
i thought the RC10's kept the tub chassis, take a look down the Losi route
