I don't know anything about the VQ Texan, but I have the WM T-34 and it's a really nice flying plane, very well built too.

Default World Models Mentor vs. VQ Models Texan

I'm on my 3rd T-34. They fly great with a .46, Just make it tailheavy to do great flat spins & snap rolls.

Default Nose Steering gear setup linkage on T-34 World Models

Hello,

Just a quick question...How did you setup the nose steeing gear linkage? I'm having a hard time Because if I run through the hole where the steering arm is located, rod will be too high for the servo arm (did you guys bend it?) I try to replace the linkage rod that came w/ it..w/ a thicker one, but the problem i don't have enough clearance to hook up the steering arm and movement. Any recommendation would be great! Thank You

Take a read in the RC Aerobatics section of this month's AMA magazine for a neat look at the WM T-34. Modified one per those suggestions and it does indeed fly a great pattern. - It also solves the poor snaps without changing the CG. Had a Texan before and there is no comparison for flying ability and tracking. Besides that the WM almost lands itself, you'd swear there is a magnet underneath that sucks it on the runway... My son's is flying the modified one with a Saito .56 and I park my planes to sneak a flight every chance I get

They're very well built too. (even if they come with wheels too small for grass).
