Ultra Hots Kit
I purchased an Ultra Hots kit in 1988 (I think) and have finally decided to build it. I have a NIB ST3000 of the same vintage for it. Is it acceptable for the airframe? I'm looking for the same power to wieght ratio as I had with the 60 sized Hots using an OS 60 FSR.
Thanks, Randy

Randy my memory just plain sucks. But as memory serves you have a good combination. Check the prints. Reccomended sizes are there. I believe the 3000 is in the range. Should work real good. Just double check my memeory, the big Hot's were supposed to be built for big 2 strokers.

Thanks Mark! Yes, my memory is not too hot either. Unfortunately, I can't look at the prints for a couple more months because I am overseas and the kit is stored in the States. We will be reunited soon. I was curious about the engine just in case I needed to start looking for another one.
