wow, what an open-ended question! there's so many to choose from.

my personal choice would be something like a Sig Kavalier (or GP Easy Sport)

you can do something like a fun-fly type design. H9 Pizazz, GP Dazzler, Laser 3D.

even a trainer, like the Avistar, can meet your needs.

hope this helps get you started in the right direction...

Get a Kaos, can't go wrong with that plane.

I love the same things you do, terrific maneuverability and modest speed. You can't go wrong with most of the "Fun Fly" types, but many of them do look odd, not like real planes.

I have come to like the profiles, especially the Morris planes. If you want something that looks better, try a Dazzler or perhaps the best choice of all would be the Somethin' Extra!

Default Tiger 2

The Goldberg Tiger 2 is an excellent plane. It has a throttle and can do anything. Kit $92 ARF $160? I have a Tower .46 and fly at mostly half throttle.

I use to have a ball with my SIG Mid Star 40. Had a TT .46 Pro on it and at mid throttle it would really perform anything you could throw at it, but alas a bad Rx battery took it from me. If I did another one I would increase the control surfaces by 25%. I also have flown the GP's Easy Sport and it's a great one for sure. I have one ready to cover and I did increase the control surfaces by 25% and should be a kick in the pants. ST .45 will be on this one.

Put me down for the Sig Somethin' Extra. It can be setup as a gentle flyer or turn up the throws and go for broke! A .46 - .50 2-stroke will fly it and the K & B .48 will hover it all day long if you enlarge the rudder area. I have one with 200% more rudder and a Saito .72 that's a shot of airplane Viagra...

If you don't like the Sig SE because every body has one try the Morris Balsa Nova. I have the big one and little one. They are great flying planes.
