Nerf football whistle on plane?

Nerf football whistle on plane?
Some Nerf footballs have a small plastic "whistle" glued on the side to make the football "squeal" in the air when thrown. Has anyone ever tried mounting one of these to a plane to make it sound like a jet when it flies by? I haven't tried it, but it seems like a neat idea.

One of my sons did that years ago, but the whistle was too soft, and the air flow got so fast over the whistle, that it wouldn't.

Big thing, is that the whistles on the nerf footballs are plastic, and expect a relaively slow airspeed.
The I4C whistles are designed around a higher air speed, and are machined. But cost way much more than a nerf football!!
