Monokote over Ultracote?
Can you apply Monokote over Ultracote as trim? I've used monokote for over 6 years but I'm now trying Ultracote. I've never tried the two together so I don't know. thanks for any help.

Monokote over Ultracote?
Yes, you can put monokote over ultracote. However, the two do not shrink at the same rate, so you need to watch the temperature. Ultracote goes over monokote easier than ultracote goes over Monokote.

Monokote over Ultracote?
thanks for the tips.
I like using the utlracote. Other than having to pay attention to the heat and shrinkage it goes on rather easy. I still like the monokote shinyness better but will continue to use both as they both have their pros and cons.
I'm covering my balsa usa enforcer with white ultracote and the fins will be done in red monokote along with the trim on the body of the airplane itself.
I will try the windex thing on the trim part.
