4.8 to 6 volts

Default 4.8 to 6 volts

My question is if you are running 4.8 volt system how do you change to 6 volts ? Do you need any different receivers or switches or will the ones being used on the 4.8 system be o k

Just use a 5 cell pack and you are in business.

There was a post here a couple of months ago about changing from 4.8 to 6.0V. It said that it made the servos jitter. I put 6.0V in my sailboat and the rudder fluttered until it got in the water. I've used 6.0V in an airplane and had no problems with the servos. One did jitter and I sent it back to the factory, it was brand new, and the fault was with the servo itself not the extra voltage. Changing shouldn't be a problem. Just check it out before you fly.

Verify the electronic parts can take the extra voltage. Some servos are limited to 4.8 v..
And higher voltage means higher current drain.
Test the capacity for your usual flight procedures to see if you might need to charge more often.

My Heckler has a lithium regulated down to 6v
