Default Unimat 3

I have the chance to buy a Unimat 3 with the milling attachment, power feed and numerous accessories. I have been searching in vain trying to find a similar setup and it's value. This has been offered to me by my brother so I want to give him a fair price. Anybody have any ideas? Thank-you in advance.

Just moving this back to the top after the long weekend because I would really like an answer if possible. Some of my knowledgable peers out there should have at least an educated guess. Thanks Again.[8D]

I've done some looking, but I can't come up with very much on the Unimat 3. But since it's your brother, ask him what he paid, and what he wants for it. He'll probably give you a good deal.

Geeze, a woman who can run a lathe... Where have you been all my life?

Oh, I see... Venus. And all this time I've been on Mars

Thanks Minn, My brother won't commit to anything and he wants me to make an offer. I know he would make me a deal, I just don't want to cheat him. He is in kind of a pickle right now. Also, it gets kind of lonely here on Venus, not too many cute pirate kings here.

When all else fails do a 'GOOGLE' search to do some comparison shopping, then compare the new items to the used and judge a fair price from there. 50 - 75 cents on the dollar is fair depending on the shape that they are in.

Have a look at these sites - and Yes there are more...

Nitrowoman-

I recently acquired a Unimat SL, and in my search for info I found this site http://www.unimat.homestead.com/index.html which might be helpful - an email to the mod might get you some numbers.

Also, I just did a quick ebay search and found one Unimat 3 auction.

Just my .02, good luck!

Bob
