Default TIPORARE / Tipo

Hello Fellow R/C Modelers,

I have a question. I am in search of the elusive Tiporare Pattern Plane.
Built or unbuilt (Preferably Unbuilt)
It was my favorite plane growing up and I would love to get one again to allow me to fly pattern.
Any help would sure be appreciated.
Thanks !!

You might try posting a note in the Pattern section of the RCU. The Tiporare’s are highly valued and deemed excellent by a lot of flyers. I have one that is ready to fly but I haven’t got around to doing it yet. Hope to fly it one of these days.

John,

According to his website, Dick Hanson kits the Tiporare. http://www.dickhansonrc.com/
Dick is a member of RCU

Well, I have an old tiporare kit sitting around and I would love to get rid of it. I started to work on the wing cores but there is something wrong with them, I think there are 2 right or 2 left wing halves because when you join them at the wing root, the incidences dont match up at the tips. You would have to make wing root and tip templates and have the cores re-cut. The fuse and everything else is untouched. It is a great planes kit. If anyone is interested, e mail me.

Dick Hanson made some similar models, runaround, etc. but I'm not sure if he's still kitting them.

Peter
