Size engine for Ohio R/C ULTIMATE ?
I purchased an Untimate already built. It needs 6lbs of weight in front to balance out. That seems extreme to me. Has any one ran into this? I'm considering going to gas for this one. What size engine should I consider for this?
Thanks,
Ron

RE: Size engine for Ohio R/C ULTIMATE ?
I have that ultimate (see avitar at left). I first had a ZDZ40 gas in it. it was ok - but i did want a bit more verticle performance. I now have a DA50 in it. it's pretty good, only thing is it is over-weight.
if you have to put that much weight on it, i'd put a 50 on it. if you could move things further forward to balance, put the lightest engine in possible (like if you could balance it with a Moki 2.1 in it without adding weight it would be perfect).

One of the guys in our club as the same plane with a 50cc gas and flys the pants off of it. A 3-w 50 weighs in at 4.36 lbs without muffler, a 3-w 60 is 5.32 lbs. Dennis
