scales used to weigh a plane??
strange as it seems I want to weigh a plane I built because it was done with a foam wing and it is definitely heavier than the original built up version..I want to weigh the overall plane to ensure it complies withe kit recommendations. I am curious as to what everyone does and the scale used.is there an inexpensive piece of equipment to accomplish this ..please help..

How accurate do you need to be? Weigh yourself on your bathroom scale. hold your plane and weigh again. Difference is your "approximate" answer.

RE: scales used to weigh a plane??
eureka! I was at wally world last night(walmart) and looked at food scales just incase they had any and I found several! I bought one for under 9 bucks!!! I rushed home and weighed my plane under construction and though the foam wing was unbelivably heavier overall I am well within the specifed weight given by the kit designer..so if your looking for a inexpensive set go to walmart in the grocery section where they sell food related supplies.this works in grams and pounds up to seven pounds..
