Default Multiple Batteries ?????

Hello -

I building a Ziroli Hellcat and am wanting to put two or three batteries together to power the servos. Can I simply use a Y cable and plug two batteries into the receiver?

Is there a better way?

Thanks,

Brian

Default RE: Multiple Batteries ?????

it is quite common to use two batteries to power one receiver. use 2 batteries of the same voltage (4.8 or 6.0). do not mix a 4.8 with a 6.0. use separate switches and plug one into the battery slot and the other in to any available servo slot. if you are using all channels, then you can use a "Y" connector. At the field, turn on the transmitter and only one switch. verify all servos move. then turn this switch off and the other one on. test again. then turn both switches on and fly. charge each battery separately.
