Default Larger Building Surfaces

I'm just wanting to get some suggestions as to what types of building surfaces you all use to build larger planes. I'm getting ready to begin construction on a Don Smith B-17 (yes...I know) and the fuse is 96"...therefore the plans are even larger. I'm running into two problems. The largest sheet of plywood I can find is 96"...a few inches too short and the second problem is...sticking a t-pin in a sheet of plywood or wood door isn't that easy.

Any thoughts and/or advice?

Thanks,
Patrick

Marine plywood is available in 10 or 12 foot sheets. $$$$$$$$!

I'm sure a dumb question here but where do you buy marine plywood? I would assume a boating store? But aren't most boats these days built using fiberglass? So I'd assume it would be pretty difficult to locate in addition to being pricy...

Build an extra long table, using two peices of MDF, and a joiner under teh seam.. (like, 2 sheets of 5'x4' MDF for a 10' x 4' table..) then a sheet of 10' gyp-rock / sheetrock on top of that. You can get 12' sheets of wqall board, and I beleive 10' as well. You can puchj pins into gyp-rock / wallboard / sheetrock.

If you can get a good solid and straight base, put a piece of 1/2" 4'x12' drywall on it. Pins go in easy.
